I had great fun helping the Cornell PMA department stage a fencing sequence to embody the power dynamics and shifts between Ophelia and Laertes for this weekend’s production of “BiOphelia.” It’s always a joy to work with actors dedicated to getting it right, and the opportunity to physicalize the text, adding dynamic shifts to what could otherwise be monologuing, was a great challenge.
